Stereo Lithography (SLA):
It is one of the oldest and most popular rapid prototyping techniques, which offers a good level of strength, surface, detail and cost. SLA is an additive process, which involves using liquid photopolymer and a laser system that cures the appropriate section of each layer. It is the first rapid prototyping technique that uses photosensitive liquid polymer, which solidifies when subjected to ultraviolet light. This technique came up in 1988 and has become a benchmark in rapid prototyping technology.
Selective Laser Sintering (SLS):
